One intake books the whole team.
If your child has been referred for OT, speech, psychology, or physio — or you’ve just noticed something and you’re not sure — you’re in the right place. One clinician becomes your family’s point of contact. One shared file. The disciplines that need to work together already talk to each other.
You know your child. We start from there.
The school said something.
A teacher noticed. A learning support meeting was called. You’d like a proper look and an honest read.
You’ve been noticing.
They’re not talking as much as other kids their age. They can’t sit still. They’re anxious about school. Something’s off, and you’ve been meaning to do something about it for a while.
The paediatrician referred.
You have a letter. You’d like to get started — without the 8–14 month waitlist you’ve been quoted elsewhere.
How the family model works
When a family comes to Circlewell, one intake call books the whole team. If your child needs OT and speech, they don’t join two waitlists. If a psychology assessment turns out to be helpful later, the psychologist starts already knowing your child — not from scratch.
One clinician becomes your family’s point of contact. You have their direct line. If OT and speech both work with your child, they’ve already spoken by the time you call. If the school wants to be part of the conversation, we make that easy — with your consent, we attend Learning Support meetings in person or by video.
Reports are written in one document. Your GP, your school, your paediatrician, and you all read the same thing — plain words, no jargon appendix.

Waitlist honesty
We tell you the real wait on the first call. Paediatric OT and speech nationally are stretched — we won’t pretend otherwise. If we can’t see your child in a reasonable window, we say so and help you think about alternatives.
School liaison as standard
Talking to your child’s teacher, attending planning meetings, writing reports the school can actually use — this is part of what we do, not an add-on.
You are the expert on your child
We start from what you’ve noticed. Not from a screening tool.

Cover varies — HICAPS on the day.

Common family questions
Yes. You don’t need a diagnosis to come. We’ll do an assessment together and tell you honestly what we think would help.
Varies by discipline — usually 1–3 weeks for adult psychology; 2–8 weeks for paediatric OT and speech depending on age and availability. We tell you the actual wait on the first call.
Sometimes yes, sometimes it’s better separately — depends on what each child needs. We work it out with you.
Yes, with your consent. Sending reports, attending Learning Support meetings, or a phone call with the teacher — whichever is most useful.
Yes. Self-managed and plan-managed — [VERIFY] if agency-managed is added. Support Coordinators can send us a referral directly.
Yes. Our waiting room has quiet corners and things for kids to do that aren’t overwhelming. Your child can bring a comfort object. First sessions are about building the room, not the diagnosis.
